Since we started Sound Forums, there was a demand for a Wiki from the community. We started up 'The Vault', but it became filled with spam so quickly that we had to take it down. This time we're going to do it right.

Content from The Vault has already been migrated over to Sound Wiki. While we plan to implement single sign-on in the future, Sound Forums and Sound Wiki don't currently share a user database. New account ...

We made a bunch of upgrades tonight. The most important one that you'll see on the front end is our upgrade to vBulletin 4.2. Here's some information on that from it's creators that is relevant to the SFN community:

We're sorry about the downtime over the past two hours.

Since switching over to Linode from Dreamhost, this is the first time we've had any downtime that was caused by our host.

All we know at this point is that there was (and still is) a network connectivity issue in our datacenter. While the problem isn't fully resolved, network connectivity is slowly stabilizing and our host is still working on a full resolution.
