  1. Scheduled Maintenance on 5/29

by , 05-16-2012 at 04:57 PM (Best Blog Ever)
While our new host has given us close to 100% uptime, they have scheduled maintenance on our server during the following time window:

    Tuesday, May 29th, 2012 @ 22:00 - 01:00 (10PM - 1AM) EDT

During this time, there shouldn't be more than 30 minutes of downtime.

  3. Addams Family Tour: Console

    by , 04-26-2012 at 05:56 PM
Could you talk about your console routing in more detail? What pieces of the SC48 do you feel you are really leveraging to make the show that much better?

The console is actually a Profile. We have 84 inputs and 21 physical (non-internal) outputs. Both of those counts are low for a typical Broadway show. The input count is low because all sound effects playback is handled completely outside of the desk by LCS/Wild Tracks. The output count is low because we are only sending "stems" ...

  4. Addams Family Tour: One size fits all?

    by , 04-24-2012 at 11:30 AM

  5. Addams Family Tour: On vacation and taking questions.

    by , 04-18-2012 at 05:02 PM
I was sitting at home thinking about how I didn't have anything to write about since I'm on vacation. Then I realized that being on vacation is a rarity in our business. This is the first time I've ever had one. That is, left a show that is still in progress and been absent while the show continues on.

All too often in this business "vacation" is the time that we spend frantically trying to find what the next gig is or skimping a saving until the next tour picks up. It's ...
