The End of the mid-range as DIY

The rest of the photos and the measurement from implementing the new 10in. Unfortunately I can't show the photo of final version of the new 10in. I pulled two boxes at a time into the air and measured the LF increase vs. MF for the array. Measurements pictured were on the ground, the levels at audience height were pretty flat. We had it lucky and it was only 80degF for the load in with three of us.

P.S. In the measurement picture I had the mid range turned down so I didn't blow my ears out at FOH. I also didn't have the microphones set to any reference. I took the measurements at 70ft from the array. FOH was positioned at 113ft from the array. Trim height was 27ft for the 14box measurement. Floor rise from the array was 3ft to FOH position.

Im sorry so are you saying you diy built that line array?! Or did you just swap some of the drivers? Or just added some of your 10's? Also how did that stick get straight through the leaf?

Completed 10" Mid-Range Driver from Previous Post

Haha, no just the 10in and 15in drivers ;-) I made an upgrade kit in my spare time with some new lighter and stiffer cone materials, new magnet designs and modifications to the original baskets to damp out resonances in the mid-high. They worked so well the factory made the rest for the array.
