This should provide very good performance. It is a push pull linear motor driver with feedback loop control, and it has moved one of the biggest variables (voice coil heating) into a more manageable form factor by using fixed coils and moving magnet.
Powersoft have a number of years with the control loop technology using conventionally-minded drivers through their collaboration with B&C and Martin Audio. The Martin MLA series subs built around this control loop technology are most impressive.
