Behringer X32 recording via USB card

I’ve multitracked from the the 32s on a number of occasions with no problems. Only did play back once and it seemed fine. Just throwing this out there but if you’re in a small venue listening to play back, the lack of sound coming from the stage (no band) might account for some of that. But I...

Good monitor mixing, especially when the band gives up and stops asking for what they need.

Wow! Mats, that’s up there in the all time strange encounters. “Noone have ever heard of a famous performer using Fender"!!! That’s pretty funny. What a very odd human being. Two M2’s? That should have caved their chest in.

Good monitor mixing, especially when the band gives up and stops asking for what they need.

I work for a local sound company and do a lot of monitors for touring acts. Riley and Tim pretty much nailed it. You need to establish a rapport with the band (though you have little time to do so on most gigs) When meeting the band try to be confident (not arrogant) and relaxed. When they walk...

Behringer x32 rack : Aux out for in-ear mix (problem)

I haven’t set up this configuration before but I tried recreating this using the editor on my laptop. (I don’t have the mixer in front of me so this an offline experiment.) I assigned Bus 9 & 10 to aux out to 1 & 2 in the Routing page then returned to the mixer over view page. I selected Bus 9...

X32 and Headphone Monitor Routing with Logic Pro X

I highly recommend the edit software. It gives you a much better overview of everything. If you poke around and stare at it long enough everything will become clear.

Bob, have you given up the confines of your lovely, well equipped studio for the rigors of the road? PS Love your books. Wonderfully, demystifying for when I started down that path. Thanks!

    Midas Pro 2

I love those but they are cranky beasties. I had some issues with my Pro 1 not long after I got it. It’s got some reset switches under the hood for various functions. I no longer recall what and where, sorry. You’ll have to talk to a qualified tech. Let us know what you find out.

Interesting box but Danley has been doing that for years. Different approach but not entirely dissimilar.

    Industry Standard Accordion Amp

Only times I’ve worked with one who used an amp, they brought their own. I don’t recall what was used but I believe they were keyboard amps. I agree with all of the above. Most of these bands work with all kinds of sound companies of various levels and they often try to cover the bases on a...
