Hello everyone. Hope you are doing well.
I have a mystery on the XR Air 18 I bet you can solve for me.
Channel 15 and 16 are somehow tied to FX2.
If the FX2 channel is muted (or unmuted with a fader down) then channels 15 and 16 are muted on the mains.
With the FX2 fader down, I can see the meter jumping and showing the signal from Ch 15/16.
How do I stop FX2 from being the master of Ch15 & 16?

I've taken ch 15, 16 & FX2 out of all mute groups and DCA groups. Grasping at straws as I learn the X Air system.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Mark,
First, if you don't want them to respond as a pair, unlink them in the input section. From your attached picture, it looks like they are, in fact, linked as a stereo pair. Then, check the output section to make sure the LR button is lit. This is the on/off switch to send the channel to the Main Stereo bus. From the sound of it, you are routing them only to the FX bus.
Cheers,
Jan

Thank you, Jan. I do have them linked as a stereo pair. That part is intentional because my keyboard player wants his keys in stereo (even tho the house is mono...)
I have unlinked them to see if that affected their dependency to FX2 but of course that had nothing to do with FX2.
I will check the LR button on the Output. That might be my missing link. I've been looking for something in the routing that said "send to FX2" (maybe not those exact words but that idea) and haven't found it.

Thanks again for the help.
