Blue Microphones Mo-Fi

Hi all

so wondering if anybody has had the chance to have a listen to these yet? Im really intrigued to what they sound like and if they are worth the hefty £270 price tag they have in the UK. If I buy them I would have to purchase from the UK.
things I wanna know:
Do they sound as good as they make out?
Do they fit well?
Is this all just marketing? (which probably is)

Re: Blue Microphones Mo-Fi

Well, there's no technical information whatsoever in the video, so I guess someone will just have to buy them and see if they sound any good. Supposedly they're $350, so they're at the high end of the consumer headphone market. To me, powered headphones make a lot of sense. Hopefully Blue has paid as much attention to the transducer, processing, and amp section here as they have to the mechanics.

if you go to the website and watch the rest of the videos they have thought about everything... the drivers are matched to the amps and they talk about how modern loudspeaker systems share that in the way loudspeaker manufacturers match there speakers with there amplifiers nows.
I think they have the potential to be very good had a quick look over the reviews on amazon and people are starting to review them and say there awesome producers and studio engineers mainly...

Re: Blue Microphones Mo-Fi

Drivers matched to amps- marketing.

Like others, I'm not willing to pay to be a beta tester/early adopter.

blue aren't the kind of company who normally make a big deal about something and they are especially not the kind of company who release a product they feel is not ready.
So this isnt a case of being a Beta tester/ early adopter

+1 - Blue's premium stuff like the Bottle and Kiwi are some of the finest mics in the world IMHO. Time will tell, but I would imagine these should at least be solid performers. I can't imagine these being junk given the reputation they would be trying to uphold.
