If its allready 10 wire there is no need to upgrade, 8 will do nothing in that short a run.

get creative and do some tests with different brand breakers, maybe they will be a little more forgiving, in the end, I think its a design issue, not enough coming in for what can go out. Where in NY are you located?

Re: Breaker issues, your thoughts?

The breakers aren't proprietary to the panel-maker. Take one out and I'm sure there's manufacturer markings on it and you can probably order new ones from Mouser (or equivalent)
I've had breakers of that style on dimmers that develop nuisance-trip issues, some that get so sensitive just physically bumping into the rack could pop them. In my situation it was due to abuse in a previous life before I got the dimmers.
In your situation possibly you have been running it so close to maximum that they are wearing-out prematurely. I am not too familiar with the amp in question but I have no idea how they can sell something with a peak output voltage of 195V and a max current output of 85A and only ship it with a 230V@16A connector! You might want to downward adjust their "PAL" settings until it won't trip the breaker (after you install new ones of course)

These are the breakers any thoughts where i would be able to source out who makes them to get higher amperage versions?

Support, Mar 07 19:05 (CET): Yes, the internal fuse is a 30amp slow blow. On occasion the amp will pull more than the 30amps depending on what music you are playing through it momentarily. But you should be fine if you keep an eye on the amp.

Re: Breaker issues, your thoughts?

I wonder how the fp+10000 survives on a 30amp supply.

Mine have been fine, mind you they aren't on sub duty. I've done sub testing in my shop, and can't get close to the limiters without it "hurting first".
Still haven't blown a breaker. I suspect the issue with the OP is the material he is reproducing... DUB step,or the like.... right Jason ? lol

Kinda glad I don't own one.
- you wouldn't say that if you did... :)

Yeah Shane long transients.. I may also try to up the high pass a little to help control output.. Last thing i would want is to go down a level on the VPL. But i will try all these things before changing the breaker and/or wire..

Just so you know - Six-2 is still around just under a different name. Same location and still making some of the things. Not sure if they're making things with the Six-2 label on them but they will probably have a breaker upgrade if you need it. Triclops Unlimited

I tried their website plenty of times but it just comes up blank. Maybe its a firefox issue. Ill retry again.. Thanks..
