Does anyone have pointers on where to start for foundational knowledge here? Also, what tools are available for the simulation of such devices? Only thing I really know I can look at is Acoustics by Beranek, which is fine, but the ultimate goal is to construct a CD type horn, and Acoustics doesn't really cover this.
Also, for tools that simulate drivers using T/S parameters, is it possible to use the same set of simulation tools given that I measure the T/S parameters of a given compression driver using free-air and the fixed volume method? Really, I'm out of my immediate depth here.
