Low profile 70V volume controls?

Does anybody know a 70V volume control that can mount on a wall that has a depth of les than 1.5"?

I would like 100Watts but could live with a 20watt control.

I have tried our usual 70V suppliers but theirs are over 2" deep.

I doubt you'll find one, as there's no usual need for that, and it's just so easy for the manufacturer to stick the transformer right out the back..
your best bet is to find one of the types where there are leads between the knob and the transformer taps (instead of a PCB) and extend them so that you can tuck the transformer off to the side.

My problem is that we are doing an install and the builder made the wall 1.5" thick. It was origionally supposed to be normal thickness.

We are just going to put a trim box and extend it out of the wall. Where it is will be fine (kitchen)
