LS9 show file problem with SM

I went to load up a console file into Studio Manager from an event I did last year as a basis for an upcoming event and it failed with a "parameter out of range" error.

I then tried several other console files and got the error on some of them.

Any suggestions?

Were you using any cards in the slots? Maybe clock issues?

The error is from Studio Manager. After the event, I saved the console file to a USB key then when I got home, copied it to my computer. In prep for an event, I tried to load it into SM to make some small changes.

I just did an experiment...

I found the USB key that I had originally saved the show on to.
I was able to load the show back onto the LS9.

More experiments later...

So, I saved the show to a new name on a different USB key and tried to load it into SM but it failed with same error as before.
I guess I better check the version of SM and the LS9.

Update SM and the LS9 editor to the latest version.

Yup, I got behind on the LS9 editor. That fixed it.

I am still at 1.33 on the LS9 though.

I suspect I was prepping for a show when the new editor came out, put it off, then forgot.

Yup, I got behind on the LS9 editor. That fixed it.

Always update everything to the latest version if you ever have problems, or even if you don't!
IMHO, Yamaha should version stamp their files so that mismatches like this can be indentified, but they don't.
