mac 250 problems

Hello i am ben
Long time reader
post very rare.

here is the rub.
my boss purchased 5 mac 250 + lights from an auction.
i have been tasked with repairs cleaning oiling and selling.

Over the next several months i will be posting on this thred my problems,
in the hope that one of you fine gentlemen and women would be kind enough to help me on my way.

If any one has a service manual i would like to get my hands on that. the manual that martin has online is good but sparse.
Also it would be nice to know were the best place for parts would be, i am located in the USA.

now for my first problem the light i am working on first has a PAER (pan time out Error)
I have cleaned the optical sensor, and made sure that the connector is attached.
The bump stop/switch on the light does not engage properly.
could this cause my troubles.

thank you for all your help.

Hi Ben (and other Ben)

http://lightparts.com/ is a good source for Martin parts. They are a repair shop as well, so might be able to offer some repair advice. There is a $20 minimum order and shipping and handling is a little steep, but they have lots of "unobtanium" parts, so what are you going to do. The Martin forums have some good info as well.

New issue.
the globes change at the Wrong Dmx setting.

all the Macros work properly.

But when choosing a globo they do not align with the proper Dmx sequence
They are in the correct order but they change to soon.

to give an example.
If a globo is supposed to be set for Dmx channels 1-14 the globo will work for channels 1-7 then it will switch to the next globo for channels 8-14
