I have a Midas Pro2 on an install that randomly will not start up. When the power switch is turned on the fans ramp up and then normally the console will start to boot up. Now the fans ramp up then you hear a pop in the cue wedge then the fans ramp up over and over and never boots up. Please help! Any ideas?
 
I love those but they are cranky beasties. I had some issues with my Pro 1 not long after I got it. It’s got some reset switches under the hood for various functions. I no longer recall what and where, sorry. You’ll have to talk to a qualified tech.

Let us know what you find out.

Is it old enough that the MoBo back up battery is failing?
