Re: New Midas M32 Console Hi Guys. Don't get all worked up over the lack of a manual!! It's just that I'm not used to a product like this not having ANY documentation tagging along in the box. I work in the broadcast TV industry, and everything except a BNC-connector will normally have either a quick-start guide, a manual, or a CD with these, or a note saying "go to our website......". This Midas had nothing. But it is NOT a World War 3-starting problem. :-) Personally I have only had 5 minutes with an demo-X32 in a music shop a while back + several hours with the X-EDIT software to make a complete "offline" config that I loaded into the desk on wednesday. So I had an idea as to how the M32 would work. The only thing I've looked up in the B-X32 manual so far is what format (FAT32) and codec (WAV) the files on a USB-stick should be to play audio files directly from the USB-port on the front of the desk. Yesterday we connected some audio signals in/out and played around with it. All fine so far. But we have not yet done any audio quality evaluation, that wont come until september in my case. That is when the desk is mounted in the control room desk and connected to other sources/destinations and speakers to enable a test. One of you will get the honor of doing such testing and posting it here! :-) Regards ARNE
