I can imagine that larger consoles are more complex in they're firmware and hardware. It's just a little frustration when the bar band has more power with a X32 than I do with a Pro series system. [QUOTE="Brian Wynn, post: 130435, member: 113"] Re: New Midas M32 Console Graham, Thank you for your quick response to our concerns. I can imagine that larger consoles are more complex in they're firmware and hardware. It's just a little frustration when the bar band has more power with a X32 than I do with a Pro series system. Its kind of embarrassing when a guy walks up to you on a festival and hands you a usb stick and says "hey man I'm in the next band can you record us on this usb stick" my answer is always no the desk won't do that. Then I get "what do you mean my X32 does that" then I have to explain that the technology wasn't in place at the time and blah blah blah…. Or if I want to use parametric and graphic Eq's on my aux sends and I can't do that but X32 can. Or if I want to multitrack a show and I have to bring a X32 to do so. All these reasons are why I'm eager to get my M32 working but I keep getting let down with missed deadline after missed deadline. Im a dealer and I hate returning money to customers or selling them a Allen heath because I can't get product from Music Group. I can assure you this happens several times a month. Regardless of all of that I hope the Pro series update is worth the wait. Can you tell us more about the M32 update regarding 48K/96K? It sure would be cool if the M32 will do 96K but i won't hold my breath. I have a feeling it will be a 15 firmware update to support 48K and the firmware for the M32 to talk to it. Thank you for the response. It really shows that someone from the mother ship is listening. Oh and by the way tell the guys over in England to stop giving the excuse "thats how our consoles have always worked" or "the software can't do that" it's the 21st century and the consoles should change with the times and software can do that thats why its software its the programmer that can't do that.
