I've put together another video on the topic of recording grand pianos. I used pairs of 414s, 451s and cheap Samson C01s - deliberately recorded in an ordinary house, so you can hear the kinds of results with different techniques and experiments. Again, the differences between brands is less obvious than one might expect.
