One of our amps (QSC 2100) has failed. What would you recommend to replace it with that is under $500. This will be used for stage monitors in a church.

I personally own a QSC RMX850 which I like, except the fan can get a bit noisy. I am just curious if we have any quieter options.

It will be driving these monitors...Peavey 112TLM

Peavey IPR series

If you don't mind buying used look for some Crown K series amps, no noise at all.

+1 on the Crown K amps. I own 3 of them (two K2's and one K1) two units purchased "used" and one new.
All of which I purchased in the late 90's.
I use the K1 for monitor duty and the K2's for mains when I provide the rig for indoor choral concerts.
'Never had an issue with them, totally silent, and perfect for the application....although a bit on the heavy side...

A new IPR1600 is around $250 in the USA...

Get a QSC GX series amp. I have a GX5 that we use for monitor and small mains and I've never heard the fan over a whisper. Plus they don't have the gaudy blue LEDs that the IPR's do.
