Sound Forums will take on a new modern look this weekend as we transition to vBulletin 5. A responsive design will make articles and forums more mobile friendly. The like system will return, and posting / navigation will become much smoother.

Content will become a larger focus point. We’ll highlight articles at the top of the front page, and begin utilizing ad revenue to pay for 1500-2000 word articles.

Along with new software, we’re simplifying a few areas of the site. Blogs and groups will be removed from main navigation. All existing content will be retained, and we’ll shift blog entries to articles or forums posts in the coming weeks. For situations where you’d previously post to blogs, use ‘Articles’ or ‘Forum’ instead.

Ads will shift focus to the 300x250 size for desktop / large mobile. Smaller mobile devices see a 300x150 position instead.

We’ll also continue pushing press releases out through social media and various news platforms, more information on this will come soon.

Please post about any issues / dead links encountered in this thread, or reach out to me directly. We expect downtime to last the majority of the day.

Ouch, hope it doesn't crash'n'burn like Harmony Central when they switched over - still not running well there years later :( .

EDIT> can't post here even though the buttons are there - Neither "Post Reply" nor "quote" work. Edit works so here ya go ;) . Also elsewhere a reply hangs at "working" forever just like on Harmony Central. Oy Vey...

Ron, I can't reproduce using a generic user account. Could you provide steps to reproduce, date / time of issue? What browser are you using?

Thanks
