The whole of this website has suddenly started displaying text in Japanese characters. Just before it started, a little window popped up briefly saying something about "easyfilter automaitaclly set to japanese" or something like that - I can't find out anything about this or how to undo whatever it's done - anay help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Don't know about the whole website but there's been an industrious spammer who's posted a hell of a lot of posts recently - I've reported it to the mods and hopefully they'll nuke it fairly quickly.
Made a few changes to our spam tools, hopefully they help.
Trying to keep a fine balance between blocking spam, and keeping the posting process as simple as possible for real users.

Yeah, I get that you don't want to be too heavy handed, but I for one wouldn't object to a few days of having all posts require moderator approval, hopefully that'd be enough to deter whoever's behind this.
