Conceptual design & nomenclature of the X32 Software/App series I am really disappointed in the conceptual and nomenclative aspects of the line of softwares for the X32. Here are some ideas for improvement that could permeate the entire world of Music Group... Please send a check payable to "Jimmy Holub"... List of Softwares, new names: 1. X32 Design Center 2. X32 Control Live 3. X32 Monitor Live ----- Details ----- 1.0 X32 Design Center 1.1 Previously known as "X32-Edit". 1.2 [rant]I think "Edit" really does not explain very well what people do with this software.[/rant] 1.3.1 Primary Function: advanced design of and/or changes to the X32 system architecture. 1.3.2 Secondary Function: live control of the X32 and its network. 1.4 Primarily designed for Audio Engineers (all types: live, studio, etc.). 1.5 Subject to audio tech permissions via username and password, as specified by an administrator. Useful for permanent installations such as stadia and arenas, especially if they have the rack-mounted version of the X32. 1.6 Software & Hardware Platforms: Advanced (BUT CRASH-RESISTANT) computer software for standard desktop, laptop and rack-mounted computers. Not available on any other type of device. 1.7 OS Platforms: Windows, Mac OSx, Linux. 2.0 X32 Control Live 2.1 Previously known as "XiControl". 2.2 [rant]Seriously? "i"? I am disappointed.
