Adamson IS-Series Offers Sleek Look & Pristine Sound for Genesaret Church, Mexico

Port Perry, ON (May 2018) – The Genesaret Christian Family Centre (Centro Familiar Cristiano Genesaret) in Nezahualcóyotl, Mexico, is well known for its exciting and dynamic Sunday services. Early into 2018, the church premiered its brand new IS-Series audio system from Adamson Systems Engineering, which pairs the elegance befitting its clean, modern worship space with the pristine audio quality of a top-tier touring loudspeaker system.

“When we were ready to renew our sound system, we were seeking only the best options on the market,” begins Ezequiel Ponce, Audio Chief and Sound Engineer at Genesaret. “We demoed some of the big names in the industry, but weren’t sure about a final decision until we tried the Adamson products. We wanted a PA with the performance of a touring system but with simple rigging and a clean look for a permanent installation. Across the board, Adamson’s IS-Series was the perfect solution.”

As they had on previous audio-related projects, Genesaret consulted with Mexico City-based planning, consultancy, and sales firm PAXSA, which welcomed Oscar Gamas, Adamson’s Regional Operations Manager for Mexico, into the fold. Together, they took advantage of Adamson’s Blueprint AV software to design a system perfectly tailored to Genesaret’s lively music ministry as well as speech applications from regular weekly services to the many high-profile guest speakers the church welcomes year-round.

The resulting solution is comprised of main left-right arrays of six IS7 two-way, full range cabinets per side, with three complementary IS118 subwoofers groundstacked beneath each hang. Like all of the offerings in Adamson’s IS-Series, the IS7 and IS118 pack the company’s proven tour-grade technology into sleek, architecturally-friendly packages with robust but unobtrusive rigging solutions.

“The IS-Series offers an amazingly smooth and precise frequency response,” notes Ponce. “To be honest, even though I’m very familiar with Adamson’s reputation in the touring market, I was surprised with how such a compact cabinet can offer so much headroom and such a precise reproduction. You can hear every detail when mixing on this system. As sound technicians, we know when we’re working with products of this calibre, but the best part is receiving all of the great comments and congratulations from our worshippers after hearing their performance.”

Ponce offers praise to PAXSA Manager Josapath Sanchez and Adamson’s Gamas for their professionalism and support during the process.

“Throughout the consultation, delivery, installation, tuning, and onsite support, everything was done with precision and care,” Ponce says in closing. “It’s not only about great products; the most important thing is to have excellent communication and attention to every detail. On all sides, from the performance of the system to our relationships with PAXSA and Adamson, this experience has definitely exceeded our expectations.”
