Audio, is pleased to announce the addition of three new personnel appointments with the recent hiring of Robert Almodovar, Javier Cabal, and Darrin Young. Following the expansion into new corporate headquarters, these three new appointments bring added sales and support capabilities to the US operation. All three new appointments are based in the Miami office.

Robert Almodovar is D.A.S. Audio of America’s new Applications Engineer. Hired in January, Almodovar is a graduate of Full Sail and Interamerican Universities where he studied music performance, electronic music, recording, and post production. He has served as a recording engineer and was nominated for a Latin Grammy® Award for his work on the Shakira and Beyonce remix of Bello Embustero. He has also worked as a FOH engineer for numerous high profile festivals. In his new position with D.A.S. Audio, he will be responsible for on-site and remote systems configuration, along with technical support and training for applications such as EASE and SMAART.

Having started with D.A.S. in October 2013, Javier Cabal was brought on to oversee the company’s involvement in the MI / Retail sales sector. With the title of Sales Manager for MI Accounts, his background includes pro audio sales positions with Sam Ash Music, MARS Music, and Space Music. He also worked as a sales trainer and equipment rental agent. Additionally, Cabal served as a Regional Manager for Meyer Marketing of West Palm Beach, FL, where he was responsible for numerous sales and training initiatives.

Darrin Young is D.A.S. Audio’s new Business Development Manager for MI / Retail. Hired in January, Young’s background includes positions with the Stanton Group as Market & Product Specialist / Product Manager as well as Manager of Sales and Training for the organization. In his new position with D.A.S. Audio, Young will endeavor to increase the company’s presence in the MI / Retail sector, where he will focus on large accounts and restructure the company’s sales and MAP policies.
