In his role, Mr. Lewis will be responsible for driving worldwide sales for the entire Truextent product portfolio. This includes acoustic domes, cones and other acoustic membranes fabricated from beryllium, beryllium alloys and other advanced materials, as well as complete diaphragm assemblies.
“Andy’s extensive industry experience, coupled with his deep technical acoustic knowledge makes him the perfect ambassador for the Truextent product lineup,” commented Edward Hefter, Vice President and General Manager of Materion Electrofusion. “Advanced Acoustic Technology has been the vision behind the Truextent products since day one, and now Andy will be able to engage Materion’s considerable technical resources to deliver unique and innovative products to the audio industry.”
Mr. Lewis joined Materion from SOUND Product Strategy, a consulting group focused on the consumer and professional audio/video markets, where he served as President. Prior to joining SOUND in 2010, he worked in various sales, product management and product development roles for a variety of manufacturers, including Fishman Transducers, Russound, Bowers & Wilkins, EAW, Apogee Acoustics, and Audio-Technica.
Mr. Lewis holds a BSEE degree from Northeastern University and is listed as a co-inventor on three U.S. Patents.
