MM-acoustics is proud to announce a new addition to the G series family.
The G118 is a very high impact, high SPL subwoofer box.
In a very compact and light weight enclosure of only 43kg it packs incredible 139db of peak SPL.
The G118 enclosure contains 18Sound OEM 18 inch transducer that can handle 1800W AES, 3600W program power with 10000W of peak power handling. Equipped with 135 mm (5.3 in) split winding four layers ISV aluminum voice coil, weather protected carbon fiber reinforced cellulose cone and aluminum demodulating ring for reduced distortion, it represents the very best in today’s transducer technology.
Its average sensitivity of 98db 1w/1m, combined with the extreme high power handling makes it comparable in its maximum SPL capabilities with some of the horn loaded loudspeakers but with much smaller size and considerably lighter package.
Its usable frequency range covers the range between 25Hz and 200Hz.
