Burbank, CA… Mojave Audio, a company founded by David Royer (known for his work with ribbon microphones) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Parker to the position Director of Sales. With a background that encompasses sales management, marketing, strategic market development, artist relations, and retail aspects of professional audio and MI, Parker’s experience makes him an ideal choice for his new position with the company. He is stationed at Mojave Audio’s corporate headquarters in Burbank and commenced work in his new position April 1st.

As Mojave Audio’s new Director of Sales, Parker oversees a number of crucial operations for the company. These functions include managing the company’s U.S. dealer base, managing the company’s international dealers and distributors, and developing initiatives to increase domestic and international market share. This new position mirrors Parker’s responsibilities with Mojave Audio’s sibling company: Royer Labs. Parker now holds identical positions with both companies.

Parker has been part of the Royer Labs / Mojave Audio organization since 2012. Prior to his tenure with Royer Labs / Mojave Audio, Parker served as Director of Sales, Marketing, and Artist Relations for North Hollywood, CA-based Fryette Amplification. In this capacity, he was responsible for establishing, maintaining, and overseeing day-to-day operations for both domestic and international accounts. Parker also served as Product Manager for Westlake Village, CA-based Guitar Center, where he communicated brand marketing goals and objectives into merchandising strategies to support proprietary products in all brands and channels.

Parker commented on his new role with Mojave Audio, “Like Royer Labs, Mojave Audio has become one of the most sought-after microphone product lines in professional audio and has a well-deserved and highly respected reputation in our industry. As audio professionals routinely use a combination of microphones—both ribbon and condenser— for their various projects, it makes sense that I am in a better position to negotiate sales packages and other similar sales arrangements for both companies. I am honored to assume these new responsibilities.”

Dusty Wakeman, President of Mojave Audio, commented on Parker’s appointment, “Kevin came to Royer highly recommended and in the time he’s been with the company, he’s already proven to be a valuable asset to the team and a hard-working, forward-thinking contributor to our efforts. I am delighted to have him on the Mojave Audio side of the company in his new capacity, as I firmly believe he will add greater continuity to all sales initiatives of both companies.”
