Whitinsville, MA (September 2016) – Eastern Acoustic Works has announced the availability of EAWmosaic™ in the App Store. The free download (search for ‘eawmosaic’) provides RADIUS system users with ultimate control over the entire RADIUS family of products via an iPad™.
The highly intuitive app enables users to predict, control and monitor the entire system from an iPad from anywhere in the venue. Further, a single cable can be used to not only control the RADIUS system via EAWmosaic, but also to provide multi-channel audio from any Dante-enabled source (i.e. a FOH mixing console such as the Mackie DL32R).
Use of the app also eliminates the need for racks of external processors, laptops, extra screens, mice and keyboards at FOH – FOH is now located wherever the engineer is. End users can create system design proposals, complete with acoustical predictions, in minutes while standing in the design space.
“After extended beta testing with key partners, we are very excited to officially launch EAWmosaic via the App Store,” adds Adam Shulman, director of marketing and applications engineering for EAW. “The app is truly the cornerstone of the RADIUS family. Combined with RADIUS’ core features such as Optilogic and Dante audio, the system will fundamentally change how users interact with their sound systems.”
