And what new forum would be complete without a ''tweak of the week'' section

This week it is C37-a special laquer you put on everything from loudspeaker cones-to mics- to amplifiers- to circuit boards and so forth.

You can even ''speed up the sound''

with it.

But it does take 10 weeks to fully cure

before you notice the full effects. By then your check will have cleared.

''CD's

For an example of what C37 Lacquer can do, apply one coat to the label side of a CD. Do not use it on the

other side! Otherwise, the laser will not be able to read the disk.''

''Microphones

A recording engineer at Telarc thinned the lacquer and treated the housings of his Neumann tube

microphones with excellent results.''

That guy is an idiot. And yes, I'd tell him that to his face.

It could be he just painted it on the outside of the body and like the color change-maybe that is the ''excellent results'' that he got.

Or maybe the ''exceelent result'' was that check that he got to put in his pocket

. Hard to say.

On the mic element itself the added weight would kill the response.

Re: Tweak of the week

That is a waste. For only %1500 I will teach you how to massage your cables while wrapping them. I guarentee the protons will be better aligned which will allow the electrons to more easily achieve the conduction band.

My method is confirmed by current molecular orbital and band theory, and the best part is that because it is a technique you never need to buy replacement supplies. So %1500 is a lifetime investment.

Massage works for Kobe beef, why not cables?

''CD Players/Transports

All circuit boards must receive two coats on the component side. This ''glues'' all components to the board

and creates a coherent sound system.''

That is funniest thing I've heard all week. Thanks for sharing.

He forgot trucking.... ''Pour this in your fuel tank and increase effciency. Research shows an average shows your old gas guzzling truck will now be more effcient then a Prius''.
