2 Blizzard - Puck 3 lights
150 ea - shipped Fed Ex ground insured in the lower 48

The have about 10 shows on them
No issues - working perfectly

That's a question I never thought about!
Stages are usually pretty loud so volume of the light isn't something I'd thought about!


Just plugged one in and didn't hear a fan.
However, then I looked at the manual and it does mention a fan. Must be thermostat controlled.
I'll run it for a while, listen and let you know if it makes any noise.
It'll be Sunday though. Busy gig weekend.

The older version had 2 small fans with fan grills that are visible on the bottom of the fixture. Newer models have no fans.

Older/Newer as in: Puck 3 vs the new Puck Q6A/W, or are there older and newer Puck 3's?
I'd be surprised if there are 2 generations of the Puck 3. The light is less than a year old.

fwiw, my Puck 3's do have a fan or fans in them.
The fan(s) is very quiet but I can hear it(them) now that I've listened for them in a quiet room

You're right Steve, my bad. I meant to say the exact opposite. The older ones had no fans, then it went to 1 fan, then to 2 small ones.
