We are in the process of re-racking all of our amplifiers. We are looking a quality and affordable case company. We really like the racks with the sliding doors that go into the side. Any help getting steered in the right direction would be appreciated.

Good Case Companies

Hey guys, we are looking to buy a bunch of new amp racks. We are looking for a road worthy and affordable case company. We really like the racks with the sliding doors that go into the sides  Any help in the right direction would be appreciated.

"quality and affordable" tend to be mutually exclusive when the desire is a good rugged case for gear.

The usual suspects:

R&R Cases
MT Cases
Olympic
Calzone
Anvil
Star
Jan-Al
L&M
A&S
Viking

There are more, but your best bet is to call around and get quotes/lead times, and bite the bullet.

Best regards,

John

Re: Racks/ Good case companies

I've just bought a used an abused Tak sound case. Can't seem to find their site with google, but the case is built tough.

All other rack cases I buy are going to be through them. You can order a custom cases made however you'd like.

Edit: Found their website: http://www.taksound.com/

Re: Good Case Companies

I wish Spectrum Cases (Nashville) was still around!!!!

Otherwise I have had very good experiences with Olympic here in Tampa!

Great Customer Service!

Hope that Helps!

Re: Racks/ Good case companies

I recommend shopping local if you can. We get the majority of our cases built locally and it works out well since we can work very directly and get things built exactly how we like. Also it will save you a fortune on shipping, and likely a bit on construction.
