Well, after another 3 months worth of programming and planning, I've completed my holiday display for this year. Around 15,000 lights total, and 64 channels of control, I'm pretty happy with the turnout this year. The videos just don't do it justice, but regardless, it's still awesome. Enjoy!

Looks great Evan. My wife has me out every year stringing lights for her.She does the low stuff,I do the high stuff as she don't like ladders. In addition to the lights, she has moving reindeer,Rudolph with a blinking nose and some of them big blow up things. Our Borough has been putting up Christmas lights since I was a kid.We string them accross the main street for about 10 blocks.Last year we went to LED's and cut the electric bill by almost 75%.

subs appear to be well hidden here . . .

The 12 box d&b line array is hidden pretty well too. :)

...So well, it's not even there. The "PA" is pretty pathetic actually... Yamaha MG10 mixer(was a Furman mixer until it blew up) into a QSC model 1200, into a single 8" and 1" speaker wrapped up in a trashbag outside. The aux send on the mixer provides audio for the radio transmitter.

At least your sound system beats mine. I am just taking a MP3 output to a passive resistive combiner to a Toa 60 watt or so amp and then to a small organ speaker I pulled out of a church that has a 5" (edit) or so woofer and a soft dome tweeter.

I split the signal to the radio transmitter-no fancy aux send like yours. HA-HA The radio can be heard from about 1/2 mile away.

But it gets loud enough to hear across the street. I don't run it very loud-so as to not annoy the neighbors. The lights are enough.

Nigel, you and I have a different definition of a small speaker.

OOPS-Make a 5" speaker. I bet Nigel would LOVE a 5' speaker.

Love that movie. I think I have worked with every band that they stole every scene from. Yes one band actually did get lost on the way to the stage. It was an old theatre and the dressing rooms were in the basement. While the band was in the dressing room, the prop guys moved some props for an upcoming play into the path that the band knew to the stage. They kept trying to find another way to the stage.
