I just wanted to share the recent and excellent service experience with the community on having a LG FP6400 repaired. This was by far the best service experience we've had with TC Electronics. Timely and reasonable rates. VERY reasonable.

Hey Geri. How are you? We have the disadvantage of being on the East Coast, so the round trip shipping time is always a bite, but it is what it is. Things were dragging ass pretty badly as far as turnaround on our fp series amps about a year ago. The last one I raised a little cain over and they moved it into the fast lane. They promised things were getting better and turnaround times would get down to a week or so. So what was the turnaround time on your repair?

Hi, Steve, good to hear from you. We are doing well here and I hope the same for you and yours...

The turnaround time was three weeks, take a day either way (not quite sure without my repair tracking file). Shipping took 3 days going and 3 days coming. And if this is the only repair facility in the US, I think this turnaround time is quite decent, or at least on average with other repair centers.

Garrick Lewis (Hi, Garrick!) is the guy that makes things happen in the support department (not sure if he handles just Lab Gruppen or all of TC support). We had problems when he wasn't there a year and a half ago, though Josh Evans (Hi, Josh!) stepped in and got us going.

Also, and I noticed this happening with other shipments, but it appears that Fed Ex Ground is able to get shipments from MS to CA in 3 days where it used to be 5 days. That's not too shabby, in my book.
