Shameless self promotion, or "wish me luck"

Re: Shameless self promotion, or "wish me luck"

Well, good luck then.

I have thought about doing the same thing for IBMA. It is amazing how some bad habits perpetuate themselves as younger players watch their heros do things that really don't work well.

as much of this kind of work as possible is a good thing. I do this for our local bluegrass org and it's always a hit.
Musicians will always respond to how to do it better if given facts.
Explaining physics is important to their understanding.
Good luck!

I've done a similar classes at an annual bluegrass event here, and it's always well-received (even if slightly under-attended!) I think we take it for granted that people should intuitively know things like "pointing microphone at the monitor = bad" but it's great to see light bulbs go on when some of these "obvious" basics are actually explained.
