Not that i was expecting anyone to miss me but just wanted to let everyone know the one and only DJ on the forum is back! 8)~:cool:~:cool: After months of non stop work, late nights, and a misplaced password (with a side laziness) I'm back in action. I hope everyone had a happy holidays and a great new years! I look forward to being back with everyone.

DJ's and rappers with tracks - DJ's and rappers with tracks - DJ's and rappers with tracks - DJ's and rappers with tracks - that's what we did Saturday - Oh yeah there were step dancers too. It's hard to tell but the DJ in this pic is sporting wood 'cause we supplied 8 Ramsdell 21" Sub Engines... :lol:

Whoa, im the token DJ around these forums lol. I guess ill be the guy to say it but i dont think it would be a welcomed addition to this forum, nor would i really want it. I like the group of guys around here and what this forum has to offer. I try to keep my posts as pro audio as possible and leave the DJ'esqe questions to a minimum if at any and in the basement if at that.

The thought of a DJ forum here and "DJs" gives me anxiety and i am one for the most part. Especially the thought of the "let's see your rig" photo threads, i can only scroll thru a few pages.

Look at all the pretty colors!!! Who forgot to supply the cable management?! :lol:

On a side/serious note, what are those hangs being hung from? Doesn't look too safe from the attached pic... are there guy wires or a wider base on that "structure"? Looks like a small breeze could take them down...

You're probably right - if a big storm came along they would have to come down.

Those are bungie cords "securing" them to the stand :lol: the Red-Green Show would have used duck tape.

(Those cabs are only 35-40 lbs. each so not much load on it really)

I promis not to take your place.
I dj because it is profitable at this time and at my low level(ankle biter) sound reinforcement is not.
But i did just sign my first contract as an advisor and trainer at a church for their volunteer sound crew.
Perhaps i am moving up.
I would like to thank all the posters here because i read 75% of the post and learn something new every day.
Sorry to hijack the thread. ok back to the focus hurry Ian Coughlin is back.
P.S. please email me the first step in the 12 step program I have to break this thing before my fiance' finds out.
