Does anybody know of a ready-made patch snake that has Female and Male XLRs on each end for send/recieve to and from effects units? I know a lot of people use 1/4" for this, but my console is all XLR and most of my effects units are XLR as well.

I found this one from EWI, but it has all male on one end and all female on the other. I guess I could just switch the ends on 4 of the channels, but something ready made would save a lot of trouble:

Call Mark & Liz at Audiopile. I'm sure he could mod one of those very snakes for you...all the same parts, just a different orientation.

Speaking of resale I think Evan had a ewi with reversed channels for sale in the marketplace. I also like the idea but I ended up with two snakes loomed together. I like to use xlr when possible and I have Trs adapters for when needed.

I also have an older offbrand 8 channel that I reversed all of the connectors on but that didn't turn out to be as useful.

That is the model (listed above) that I was going to pick up. It sure would be a + if it was "factory" modded for me. What I need instead is the stereo 1/4" model on one end and xlr male on the other. Is that worth a challenge as well?

Just to save confusion - the "stereo" connector you're referring to is a 1/4" TRS connector - tip, ring, sleeve. You're not using this as a stereo connector - that's something else.

Actually, only the first 6 need to be 1/4" stereo connectors. The other two are xlrf. It's for a StudioLive mixer.

I bought one of these for my MizWiz & 01V96 and swapped out Ch7 & Ch8 with XLRs.

but I ended up selling the snake and buying these for my 01V96 and they live in the case with the mixer: CA-310

I prefer not to have the longer rigid connection. I have a bunch of short 3 foot TRS to XLR adapter cables. It would still be nice to have a send/return clear snake.
