Lighting Control Help

OK so I am much more an audio guy that dabbles in lighting. I understand dmx and such and even programming up standard controllers.

I have a restaurant customer actually a chain that wants to install some basic LED lighting above the bar area and have some basic push button controls. Hit a button and go to a basic scene. Team scores a touch down hit a button and the lights go crazy and then back to a basic scene.

Is this a midi control type of operation or is there something out there I am missing.

Thanks

Re: Lighting Control Help

There are several architectural DMX controllers on the market. Most of them support some form of pushbutton triggering, either via button stations or contact closure (you provide the button). The manufacturer of the LED fixtures you choose may even have an option in their product line.

Do you have a budget in mind?
