I'm looking for suggestions for repair houses in the Chicago area. The products I'd like to get a look at include: Crest, Focusrite, Klark-Technic.

Midwest music menders is pretty good, ive had terrible luck with deltronics. I generally send most stuff back to the manufacturer unless I can fix it.

Brian may have had bad experiences, but I think Deltronics is still worth a try. If you take their work seriously, they take you seriously and don't jerk you around.

I didnt know acutrak did repairs other than speaker re-coning, but I highly recommend them for speaker re-coning. They have been reliable, and reasonably priced.

Yes, Dave's been a factory authorized service center for many major brands for twenty years, and Paul is on a very short list of top reconers.

Dave also maintains his "gold level" Fender certification too. Most of the staff are musicians as well(I'm the worst, an ex brass player).

Acutrak is also an equipment dealer, sound hire provider, equipment rental, and installation provider.
