We have several of the ClearCom CS210 base stations that have worked well for years and continue to do so, for the most part...

However, we are in need of some small parts, such as the odd channel enable button and switch and other little parts and pieces. And ClearCom is no longer supporting service or parts for these units.
I fully understand the need to move on and design new and improved products in order to survive, but these units are working perfectly and I fail to see the logic in spending hundreds of dollars on a replacement unit because I can't get a $15.00 switch or an $8.00 lens to repair the old unit.

Has anyone come across a source for parts for these units?

Thanx in advance,

Geri O

Hey Geri,
I wouldn't be surprised if the parts you need aren't fairly stock products in the electronics industry. You might want to look at the part you need and see if it has a manufacturers name on it. The usual catalog sources like Mouser Electronics or Digi-key would be a good source to look for a replacement, or at the very least a "close enough" replacement part. Might take a little legwork, but those catalogs usually have very detailed part dimensions and 1000's of options.

What Tom said. Older Clearcom is all very simple electronics. We've actually batched up some back-up power supplies out of wall-warts and a few resistors here for our various intercom kits that go out.
