Has anyone tried to use a USB hub to connect multiple Crown XTI amplifiers into the architect? Ideally I want to connect four to control an entire system.

It works. Big fan of powered hubs. We used TripLite 7 port hubs, installed about a year ago with no failures so far.

Yes it works fine. Even when you have a less than recommended processor - it's just a little slower.

I have one of these - Belkin : Network USB Hub connected to a Netgear wireless router in my amp rack with an XTi6000, an XTi4000 and an XTi2000. It lets me run Band Manager from my laptop wirelessly - its pretty cool stuff.

I ended up going with a Belkin 1x7 active hub and it's seeing everything fine... even on a slower speed USB port. I'm not really looking into upgrading this CPU since I rarely ever use it. I would have thought that a windows machine built in 2004 would have had a high speed port- but it works. Thanks for the input guys.
