Guess who is not at work with his rig.

Re: Guess who is not at work with his rig.

Hi Jay - Guilty as charged. i was in St. Pete helping my oldest brother celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary and dodging a major tropical storm!
Did you get any photos of the "Pepsi Stage"? A little bit classier. Ground stacked Flex Array, PLMs, Spectra Ti48 out front with all the bells n whistles, SC48 on monitors.

Re: Guess who is not at work with his rig.

The Pepsi stage was actually where I first recognized it at your stuff. I did not see the SC48. I was with a new potential client on the other stage so I figured I would snap a couple of pics and poke a little fun. I had actually just met this band the night before and because I had done nothing for an advance (my services are still under negotiation), and your crew had everything under such great control, we basically decided for me just to kick back and let them roll with their festival setup. They did a great job including finding a interference free frequency for the wireless sax and dealing with a guest vocalist.

All the show really needed was a Anti-Kia sidefill to to drown out the booth across the way that was blaring directly into monitor world and maybe some LED lights because the 8 cans had that stage cooking.

Guessing you were there on Sunday? Sidefills were in place on that stage on Saturday to meet Soul Asylum's rider. None of our acts on Sunday speced side fills, so they turned into wedge mixes, which were generally a little more useful. Which band were you with?

Using my practice of not naming names:

I was with the female blues act that was right before the senators.

I am keeping it low key as the long term client relationship is still in negotiation.
