A band from CT that plays at my weekly gig a few times a year contacted me about providing a PA (and mixing the gig) in Putnam CT at the end of August (the 25th I believe). Well, Putnam is a little out of my normal area so travel costs add a bunch to the price.
So, I am trying to help them out by finding someone near to Putnam that could do the gig for them.
It is a 2hr outside show at the town park by the river (with the bandstand). Likely a pair of decent speakers on sticks over a couple of subs could do it. They need 4 mixes on 5 wedges. They supply their own vocal mics (and stands - but check that). 5 vocals across the front. Drums, keyboard vocals (he sings bass and plays the bass line with left hand) and one muso that plays gtr, sax and flute (3 channels).
Thats it. Early strike - pleasant group. I would do it but it is too far for what they need.
