Driverack pa backlight

Hello,
i have an original driverack pa from what looks like 2002. Does this model have a backlight for the display? I am trying to decide if i should fix or just sell off.

Yeah, just tap lightly on the screen, it should come on.

Ok so it should have a light. I will try to give it a few taps. Rest of the unit works fine just a little tough as lighting conditions are usually not ideal as you all know.

You might want to open it and reseat the ribbon cable, that could possiblo do the trick allthought a loose ribbon normally blanks out the whole displat, not just the light.

Thanks for ideas. I ended up pulling the cover and got the light going with a little wiggle. Seemed like it was not making contact for some reason. I secured it in position so light stays on. Much better now.
