Hamburg, NY.
Ups stopped today and the EAW waveguide that I ordered 7 MONTHS ago came in. Yahoo. Open it up and the most likelly made in China piece is defective, Look at the piece that is missing where the foam seals against where it hits the driver. What is the gentlemans name on here that works for EAW, Jack, John?? I cannont deal with making phone calls and waiting weeks for responce, so I'm hoping I can get help from him. Plus I dare not send it back untill i find out if they have another in the usa or if I will have to wait 7 months again. worst case senario I can build this up with Epoxy and file it down.
I just really can't believe this, My heart is actually misssng a beat or two right know its pounding so hard.

Ps I just looked, this one came without the gasket / seal kit. the one that came 3 months ago had it.

Thanks for any help on the contact name.

Re: Eaw Contact needed.

The one on the right is the one that came months ago, see how wide the seal surface is. There is also a big difference in construction, the one that just came is made of styrafoam, almost like the stuff that is used in packaging items for shipping, its brittle and delicate as heck. The one that came 3 months ago is like all the other waveguides, a much denser foam.
The new one is also .050 shorter from seal surface to flange

I actually used to work with those-back in my days as a communications guy with Duke Power company.

They were used as signaling devices for the nuclear plants mostly-but also for weather alerts etc.

They would get quite loud and when they "got up to speed" the pole would spin circles at the top.

We used to have some fun with them when testing in the "upscale" areas-if you know what I mean-Oops-the cancel code didn't work-let me try again-oops I hit a wrong number-let me try again and so forth.
