About time little Bismarck ND gets some national attention. And it only took someone from out east to help get it. A bit sad to see someone flame out just as the match is struck, but I couldn't stop watching it. Life sucks, get a helmet buddy.

In the Oilfields here, north of Williston right on the MT border. -Finally something to watch on KFYR, saw it happen live -quite funny, but with all the technical screwups and other amateur aspects of our few stations up here I figured it was just par for the course
(Definitely quite different from SoCal up here!)

Eh, if news anchoring doesn't work out, he's already got 50% of what you need to work in production. Just get him a C-wrench and some gaff tape and he'll have a job for life.

Hey Craig, welcome to the northern plains. Not the end of the world but you can see it from here. Especially up where you are.
You can't expect a television news studio to have such extravagant amenities as in ear audio feeds or a stage manager/director can you. You said it, par for the course.
Stay safe on the rigs and the roads up there.

Production has nothing to do with getting this idiot fired.
Even if he hadn't made it to the air with this, he should have been fired for putting the other on air person in such an awkward position.
