Looking for leads or tips on insurance for PA gear in Australia - damage, theft and liability. A google search turned up AIS. Anyone have an strong preferences or opinions?

Yep, seconding AON, that's what I was recommended to use on the 'sound engineers in Australia" facebook group when I asked this same question. I'm guessing it will be pricey, Marsh can be a workable option if you're small scale and always with your gear but they wont cover dry hire so they tell me.

I just got a quote from them. Overall not cheap, but similar to two other quotes so I guess that's just the nature of this type of insurance.
