Cases for long LED bars? What are you using?

I have a bunch of Irradiant RGBA bars that are 44" long. I usually keep clamps on them as well. What are you guys using for cases for this type of fixture? I need to build/buy something to transport them and because of their odd shape I am kind of torn on which direction to go. I guess I'm looking to see if anybody has any good ideas that I can steal!

Re: Cases for long LED bars? What are you using?

We are currently using an 88key keyboard case... it will hold 6 with the clamps on them... We are looking at building a trunk for them though as the keyboard cases are pretty heavy with 6 fixtures plus the case. Im interested to see what you come up with...

I am in a similar situation with 4 bars of 4 adj mega pars that I would like to store assembled.

I haven't taken specific measurements yet but 2 in a keyboard case looks like the best option so far.

Same here but with an SKB 88 case that knocks the total weight right down.

This one from audiopile.net might work:C002 Road Trunk You might be able to build stacking dividers using Masonite or plywood with 1x stock the length of the case. Another option if you build your own case is the end load case that used to be used for MR16 strips, here is one(the wrong size for you) from 4wall.
