Okay. Keep blowing horns on the line array. At least when someone else runs it. (I know to keep it less than 95 or 100db at FOH since its about a step under its limit, engineers bands bring do not. nor do they listen to me) Crossover setting from TVI is 2.4K. Use processing in the XTI's to bi-amp it. Don't have limiters set yet. IMO not enough equipment for the venue, but I don't have the power to say bring more shit. Any solutions???

Equipment I have to work with:
12: TVI c210 (6 on a side)
6: XTI 2002 (1 every 2 cabs)
4: TVI 218 (Self Powered)
Behringer x32

just flick the limiter on the chanell thats powering the horns? its the xti 2 series, at least you can set it by voltage (and it works, unlike the original which was only decibel toggles... and questionable regardless). If they wont listen to you, then their band can sound like shattered glass.

I would run the system up to where you feel it is comfortable (and safe). Then back down on the limiters until they can keep it at that level when you turn it up.

Very unscientific-but workable. You may not be able to "squeeze every last dB", but it won't blow up.

Your management should be happy.

If the BE complains about lack of level-tell them to talk to your management-who has to pay for the repairs.

Don't have limiters set yet.

There is only one reason not to set limiters for the horns, and that is if the amp is totally incapable of blowing the drivers. Other than that, you have to limit, that is so basic that failure to do so put the responsibility for anything that goes wrong squarely in your court. Basic sound systems 1.01 I'm afraid.
