    DIY DSP Solutions

There's lots of FIR-capable DSP options out there. Some of these are very reasonably priced on ebay, as they are typically used in corporate conference rooms with AEC. These may not be super road worthy (durable), so treat them gently. I've used the following (in slight order of preference)...

    B&C ME464

I don't have drawings, just 3D CAD at the moment. Would you have the pieces CNC cut? Or would you use normal human tools? I'll go back and have another look and see what it would take to make some drawings. All I ask is you call it a RL464 . What drivers were you going to use?

    B&C ME464

Chris - Nope, that design hasn't gone anywhere since then. That was a fun exercise, but it's too large for my needs. @Nicco Cerve was going to have a go at it, but I'm not sure where he's at with that. I'd be happy to email you the geometry files if you'd like. Or could tweak the model if...

    B&C ME464

Here's an update with 4x10 config. This looks better than the previous 4x12 config I showed previously. Black curve is for 4x Beyma 10MC700ND at 700W each, grey cure is with 4x B&C 10NW76 at 400W each (RMS ratings for those drivers). This is 40in tall x 22in deep x 23.5in wide at the front...

    B&C ME464

Max - It's a super old package called I-deas. I learned it in school back in 1997 and have been using it since. - Robert

    B&C ME464

    Here's a Hornresp sim with 4x B&C 12NW76-4. I also sim'd 4x B&C 10NW76 and 4x Beyma 10MC700ND. That would be an easier fit, and perhaps shrink the box a bit.

    B&C ME464

Here's some CAD doodling from this weekend. This is 4x 12" drivers stuffed around a me464 and dcx464. The cost of the me464 along with the size of this thing is a deterrent. This is more box than I'd ever want to lug around. This is 44in tall, 25.5in wide and 23in deep. Or if you work in...

    Thoughts/ideas on a 21" ported horn sub

In Hornresp, double click on Le to change to the Lossy Le model (Le should turn red). That should be closer to reality. These B&C DS varieties have fairly high Le's so it's going to make a difference.

Can you post a screengrab from Hornresp for this?

FS: pair of BMS 4594 ND compression drivers w/ passive crossovers

Used BMS 4594 ND compression drivers. 1.4" exit, coaxial. New diaphragms. Passive xo's included. Purchased with the intent of making a pair of Peter's DIY's, but running short on time and energy. Note, these are not the HE version, as Peter is using, but they sound fantastic nonetheless...
