You're right. Check page 238 of the manual. There are instructions there on how to access the firmware information.

Another problem too... when i try to install the usb-midi yamaha driver...i get an error message saying my processor isnt adequate enough for the driver. I have windows 7 with a pentium-r dual core t4300 2.10 GHz processor.
EDIT: nevermind i got it...thought i had 32bit windows , its 64.
