Re: 01v96 with VNC/Remote SLOW Well, I think I might have figured out what is going on. I could not get remote desktop to work. We are assuming that was because of an XP (tablet) and Win7 (Laptop) issue. So we ensured everything was as right as it could be with that setup using Tight VNC. Tried it again & still same major latency issues when 16 channels were all going. Can't turn the meters off in Studio Manager with the 01V96, SO, broke out the older Laptop running XP (it is on it's last leg so that is why I hesitate to use it) hook it all up and everything now seems to work. There is still a slight bit of latency but it is functional and performs basically as it did with my older Gateway Tablet. Probably best it is going to get with this setup & router. So I have concluded that the issue is between Win7 & XP somewhere. Looks like I may need to upgrade to a tablet running Win7 at some point. Thanks for all the replies.
