I built this snake several years back, and it served it's purpose well on a handful of gigs before I acquired my other split snakes. t's 15 female XLR connectors for channels 1-15 mounted on the top of the box, and channel 16 is a male connector mounted on the side of the box. There are 4 8-pair cables that are hard wired into the box; channel 1-8 and 9-16 for "main" and 1-8 and 9-16 for monitors. Each cable is around 6' long. So it's a 16 channel "poor man's split". All connectors are the "GLS" audio brand, which seem to hold up well. This would be great for a small IEM rig, or similar application. The whole thing is assembled in a glossy mahogany finished plywood box with just a few dings and scuffs. How about $100 shipped in the USA?
